Past Activities


Kindle Life Inc., located in California, USA is a non-profit organization, registered in 1998 and subsequently granted the tax exemption for its charitable activities. Kindle Life has operated successfully since its inception on voluntary contributions from the communities and voluntary services provided by its directors, the office bearers, and numerous volunteers.

Kindle Life involves itself with charitable activities having to do with the cultural activities related to India and Hinduism. In addition activities have been administered to aid anywhere in the world when disaster strikes.

Some examples of the causes and services that Kindle Life has supported and provided are listed below:

Immediately after the destructive earthquake in Gujarat in 2001, Kindle Life provided transportation for a volunteer team of twelve experienced rescuers to arrive in timely manner in Bhuj from the USA. Later in June that year, three prominent US based structural engineers, experienced in the seismic design and earthquake resistant structures visited for six weeks to share their knowledge and experience in collaboration with CEPT (Center for Environmental Planning and Technology), in Gujarat, India, and the Municipal Corporations of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Bhavnagar. They offered seminars on the topic, “Handling Post Earthquake Challenges in Gujarat India.”

Kindle Life sponsored a unit of research and education in gastroenterology at the VS hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India and has committed $100,000 donation in establishing and maintaining the department.

Kindle Life Inc. has provided major financial support for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of the “Shree Tulsi Manas Mandir” at Sapta Sarovar Marg, Haridwar, Uttaranchal, India.

In addition, Kindle Life also supports the charitable activities organized and managed by “Shree Swami Arjun Puri Sewa Charitable Trust” in Haridwar. The major activities of the trust are:

  • Ramcharitmanas School and Hostel for Vedic Studies
    Ramayan Library
  • Annapoorna Kshetra (free food to needy & saints visiting Haridwar)
  • Gaushala (Habitat for Cows)
  • Publishing the monthly spiritual magazine: “Manas Mandakini”


Kindle Life Inc. consistently has sponsored many sessions of Shreemad Bhagvat Katha, Shree Ramayan Katha, and specific fire ceremonies for world peace, annually in USA, Canada, Nepal, and India under the leadership of Swami Shree Arjunpuriji Maharaj, Shree Bhandev, Didiji, Shree Ram Kamaldas Swami, Acharya Sant Shree Keshavsharan Devaji Maharaj and many other saints. This has benefited young adults as well as senior citizens in their understanding of the practice and the principles of Hinduism.

Kindle Life has always supported and assisted “Hinduism Today,” a nonprofit organization, based in Hawaii, in its multiple religious and charitable activities.

Kindle Life also delivered support as directed and guided by Param Shraddheya Saint Morari Bapu for the contribution to “Uttara Khand Rahat Kosh”-India, “Akshay Patra” project, Shree Ranchhodalal Charitable trust-Rajula-Amreli-Gujarat-India, Omkarnath Chaturvedi-Shree Tulsi Mandir-Tulsi Janma Sthali-Rajapur-Chitrakut District-Uttar Pradesh-India, and Sitaram Seva Trust-Gurukul-Mahuva.

Additionally, Kindle Life provided support to the charitable activities of many other educational, religious, and charitable non-profit registered organizations such as Sanskar Dham-Ref: Dr R. K. Shah, Gujarat Vaishya Sabha, Nirma Institute in India, Shri Baj Khedawal Kelavani & Sanskruti Mandal, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and many more in the USA. The latest computer technology and various computer hardware, such as printers and technical support funds, were donated to six different charities both in the USA and in India. Most recently under organization and management of “Sanskar Dham,” Kindle Life sponsored and assumed all the financial expenses for a primary school project in Ambaliara, Gujarat, India.

Kindle Life collected donations exceeding $10,000 for the family of a pizza deliveryman, who was slain as result of violence while working in Oakland, CA, USA.

Kindle Life raised substantial amount in 2012 for a scholarship fund established in memory of Mr. Manoukian, a U.S. soldier from San Jose, California who lost his life in the Afghanistan War. Kindle Life also provided support for a reception at the memorial services held at the Saint Francis High School, Palo Alto, CA.

Kindle Life sponsored and organized an event for the fundraising of “No Kid Hungry,” scheduled by in 2012, raising over $20,000 for the cause.

Kindle Life donated $10,000 to the Sardar Smarak Hospital at Bardoli, Surat district, Gujarat, India for the “Vikas Dan Fund” (Funds for Hospital Expansion) in 2013.

Kindle Life sponsored the publication of many ancient Sanskrit religious texts, facilitating their reprinting and making them available for the global community.
